OF SEA NO LONGER

When the tide recedes, what remains no longer belongs to the sea.

Of Sea No Longer explores the afterlives of marine organisms. Photographed post-mortem, each specimen is held in a suspended state between conservation and decay, evoking the stillness of museum archives.

Examined through their physical forms, scientific classifications, and mythological associations, these organisms exist as both biological evidence and historical trace. Each specimen bears witness to ecological shifts and the disappearance of species once vital to marine ecosystems.

Of Sea No Longer is where taxonomy meets memory and myth, a visual elegy of what persists and what is already fading.
